DV completed Orchard Management training for 200 female farmers in Herat Province all districts.

Under the RADP-W USAID contract DV completed training session for 200 female farmers in Herat province. The training were conducted from 22 May, 16 to 02 June, 16 in Injil, Guzara, Pashtun Zarghun, Karukh, Kushk, and Shindand districts of Herat. The training were divided into two session of class room and on farm best practices. The training topics included; Green Pruning, Thinning, Proper, Irrigation and Fertilization, Weed Control, Intercropping and introduction of new technologies.
